In the midst of the past

Visitors to the attraction experience a virtual city tour through old Cologne in the imperial era and are right in the middle of life and hustle and bustle at the beginning of the 20th century. During the development of the Timeride, hundreds of houses were rendered in historically accurate replicas and animated with over 3,000 figures that were specially developed and animated for this purpose. The experience is peppered with small special animations that lighten up the overall scenery and tell little stories. These clips were recorded in our motion capture studio by actors, and digitally recorded and placed on the corresponding figures at the end.
